HOW to BE HAPPY 😃?

There is Happiness Everywhere in This World. Don’t lose your happiness after reading this article..LOL. Don’t take life too personally..LOL.😭😇😁

By nature, we are pleasure seeking souls. Throughout life, our mind & senses are constantly looking for comfort, success, wealth, fame, power, enjoyment, satisfaction...etc, meaning directly or indirectly we all are searching for HAPPINESS. The Ancient book, Bhagavad Gita has described every kind of happiness available in this world explained below with various examples.

1. Happiness in Mode of Ignorance ( Tamsi nature ):
Happiness derived from Intoxication which gives us some kind of instant but transient pleasure by making us temporarily unconscious...LOL 🤩🤪😎. Happiness has to be enjoyed in a conscious state of mind. Otherwise it is not happiness, but rather is about forgetfulness of the surrounding situation, pain or sorrow of this world which makes us think that we are happy, but in reality it is misery. Happiness derived from sleep, laziness or thrills ( Six flag rides, Bungee jumping or Gambling ...LOL) is also in the Mode of Ignorance. These kind of happinesses are very flickering or quickly disappear once our consciousness comes back.

Bg 18.39 -- And that happiness which is blind to self-realization, which is delusion from beginning to end and which arises from sleep, laziness and illusion is said to be of the nature of ignorance.

2. Happiness in Mode of Passion ( Rajshri nature ):
This kind of happiness is dependent on material objects & subjects like buying nice clothes, cars, house, eating palatable food, watching sports & movies, vacationing..etc. Happiness derived from fame & power by associating with celebrities, politicians or anyone, by doing charity work....etc. They want to be in the center & need constant recognition for their good work. Sometimes passion of fame & power creates havoc & all kinds of scandals in society. Eventually we get filled & fade up with worldly mundane subjects & objects. It tastes like a nectar in the beginning but is a poison at the end. Maybe for some people, it always tastes like a nectar....LOL.

Bg 18.38 -- That happiness which is derived from contact of the senses with their objects and which appears like nectar at first but poison at the end is said to be of the nature of passion.

3. Happiness in Mode of Goodness ( Satvik nature ):
Happiness derived from unconditional spiritual and material welfare activities. Whenever we have worked hard with compassion, kindness, ethics, discipline, modesty & honesty despite the mistakes, deficiencies or weaknesses, either in a building relationships, earning money, executing social, professional or political responsibilities .....or any other projects of our life there is long lasting inner satisfaction & happiness.

Bg 18.37 -- That which in the beginning may be just like poison but at the end is just like nectar and which awakens one to self-realization is said to be happiness in the mode of goodness.

Happiness in Mode of Goodness leads us toward Transcendental or Spiritual Happiness.

4. Happiness in Transcendental Mode ( Spiritual nature ):
Our Mind meaning Mentality or Consciousness is designed in such a way that if we can’t UPGRADE it with Spiritual thoughts then by default It will DEGRADE us. It is difficult for us to sustain the Mode of Goodness Behavior in this world without daily practice of Spiritual Sadhna or Spiritual Yoga. True Everlasting Happiness or Bliss or Spiritual Happiness is a byproduct of Spiritual Yoga. This eternal & endless happiness does not depend on any material subjects or objects, but rather it is internal, from within. From the inner core, we are eternal spiritual souls not a temporary body that means happiness obtained from the spiritual entertainment is more long lasting then that achieved from a bodily one.

Bg 18.54 -- One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He never laments or desires to have anything. He is equally disposed toward every living entity. In that state he attains pure devotional service unto Me.

At some point in our lives, everyone of us has experienced every type of happiness available in this world which is indirectly dependent on the type of ASSOCIATION we have. God has given us Free Will to choose our ASSOCIATION & HAPPINESS.

Have a Happy Day.

Thank You.

MY SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION , SOURCE & THE GURUS:

I am inspired to hear & read the Vedic Scriptures by regularly listening to Sri Pandurang Shashtri Athvale, also known as Dadaji ( speaks on Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Veda based discourses & western philosophy ) and the association of Swadhyay Parivar every Sunday in Swadhya Kendra.

I also hear and read the discourses & literature on Vedic thoughts from Srila Prabhupada, his disciples & grand disciples ( HH Bhakti Rasamitra Swami, HH Chaitanya Charandas Prabhu, Shubha Vilas Prabhu, Sutapa Das, Amarnath Dasa, HH Bhakticharu Swami, HH Urmila Devi Dasi, HH Sivarama Swami, HH Radhanath Swami, HH Romapada Swami, Lal Govind Prabhu ( Gujarati & Hindi) Prahalad Maharaj in Surat (Gujarati) .......and many more from ISKCON......).

FYI: A good source of Vedic literature: Vedabase.com . Srimad Bhagavad Gita is the essence & Srimad Bhagavatam (SB) is the nectar of all Vedic scriptures. Hearing & reading these scriptures, Eating Sanctified Pure Food and Chanting Vedic Mantras daily purify our senses, nourishing our heart ( Soul ), are transcendental to our consciousness, uplifting to our emotions and thus perfect our Free Will. Otherwise this powerful material world will degrade us.

It is always a good idea to share our good thoughts & knowledge with others. I am posting articles based on the Vedic scriptures and expressing my opinion, thoughts, understanding, emotions & 💗. Writing/sharing the articles is my Devotion to the God/Gita/Guru. Of course I use Smartphone/Google/Pexels search to collect some data. Thanks to the Facebook/Social media for providing me the platform.

Besides my parents, wife, teachers, family & friends GREATFUL to EVERYONE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED in MY LIFE. Hopefully my enthusiasm will continue by Grace of the Guru & God ( Krishna , Absolute Truth ).

NOTE:
I use the word Hearing instead of Listening when it comes to the Scriptures. Because Scriptures are so potent that simply by Hearing them even if you don’t try to interpret or analyze or understand them still there will be passive positive effects on our mind & senses.

We can follow either the Quran, Bible, Judaism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Gita or any other Philosophy which makes sense to us, purifies us , elevates our consciousness and qualifies us to understand God and instill the love of God & his creation. ( whichever way we can understand the God, Form or Formless..or Universal Consciousness or Energy ...etc ).

Don’t try to understand God by Name, Religion or Depiction ( means image, picture...etc ) but try to understand him by the Definition through Scriptures. The Transcendental subject of God & his creation cannot be understood by mental speculation. Some times people ask why God is Supreme? It is just like asking why is the circle circular? Just by definition, the circle is circular. Similarly by definition, God is unborn, complete, unlimited, infinite, eternal, the Absolute Truth the source of everything, cause of all causes.

I see God, besides the above mentioned qualities, as an eternal living person ( not a abstract or some kind of light ) known by the name KRISHNA meaning one who attracts everyone has also MANY other NAMES, forms, abodes, incarnations, activities, qualities, associates, is full of wisdom, bliss, and the cause of all causes.

Bg 9.17 -- I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.

Bg:13-12:-- Accepting the importance of self-realization; and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth ( God ) – all these I declare to be knowledge, and besides this whatever there may be is ignorance. ( Vedabase.com ).
