WHY SO MUCH LOVE FOR GOD?

Many of us have a lot of Passion for the spiritual aspects of life. Today’s post heavily references God (whatever understanding & beliefs we have about God). Some statements will resonate and others may not. You have every right to disagree with my blog, I won’t be offended & it will not affect our relationships....LOL 😂 😝 😆. In case if this Blog make sense to you (that includes me also) then take it seriously; it is the beginning of Self & God realizations..... LOL 😂 😝 😆.

Here are some elaborated bullet Points with appropriate Shloka or Verse from Gita.

A. Gods existence question haunts us even if we find Him irrelevant or not necessary for our day to day life. When we deal with questions of ontology and teleology--the questions concerning where everything comes from and where everything is going--we can’t help but consider the existence of God. Nothing is created or manufactured in this world out of nothing including this Universe.

Bg 7.4 -- Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego – all together these eight constitute My separated material energies.

Bg 9.18 -- I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed.

B. Don’t try to understand God by Name, Religion or Depiction (means image, picture...etc) but try to understand him by the Definition through Scriptures. The Transcendental subject of God & his creation cannot be understood by mental speculation. Very precisely & intricately designed , the Universe & Living entity can’t be originated by chance, however, anything & everything can be destroyed by chance....LOL.

Bg 7.7 -- O conqueror of wealth, there is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread.

Bg 9.17 -- I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas. Vedabase.com

C. Conscious living form & emotions are born from the other conscious living forms. If someone asks about our forefathers, we may not know anything about them, not even their names, but at least one thing we can say about them that they were not born from any impersonal entities, matters or manufactured in the factories...LOL 😂. Our forefathers existed & they were born from other conscious living forms; it is a truth-not a mythology. Who is the original seed giving father?

Bg 7.10 -- O son of Pṛthā, know that I am the original seed of all existences, the intelligence of the intelligent, and the prowess of all powerful men.

Bg 14.4 -- It should be understood that all species of life, O son of Kuntī, are made possible by birth in this material nature, and that I am the seed-giving father.

D. In day to day life, everyone of us has experienced that by absorbing ourselves in worldly mundane subjects & objects matters increase our agitation, anxiety, anger ness, greed, envy, distress, possessiveness and BLOOD PRESSURE...LOL 😂. Chewing the worldly mundane matters taste like nectar in the beginning but turns into poison at the end. If the higher human mind is not focused toward higher supreme objects, then by default, it will come down to lower mundane objects.

Bg 15.7 -- The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind.

Bg 18.38 -- That happiness which is derived from contact of the senses with their objects and which appears like nectar at first but poison at the end is said to be of the nature of passion.

E. Spending some of our time & passion for our spiritual development by practicing the Spiritual Yoga (Divine Relationship with Supreme) will reawaken our dormant divine qualities like forgiveness, compassion, and love for all living beings. Our distress & demonic qualities diminish simply by associating with the supremely pleasant & divine personality--God.

Bg 7.14 -- This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it.

Bg 18.42 -- Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness – these are the natural qualities by which the brāhmaṇas (sober person) work. Vedabase.com

F. We feel happy when we unconditionally love & serve our parents, children, family members, friends, colleagues, the nature itself or any other creations of the God. Similarly we feel extremely joyful when we unconditionally love, serve & glorify the GOD, the cause of all causes. Unfortunately every relationships in this world is temporary except one with God which is eternal. We can love God as we like; meaning we can love Him as our foremost forefather, Parent, Friend, Guru, or as a Supreme..... Whichever way we like to see & Love Him. It is easier for us to Love God who has form & qualities rather then formless.

Bg 18.54 -- One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He never laments or desires to have anything. He is equally disposed toward every living entity.

G. Life’s Journey without festivities becomes very dry & boring; it is like eating our favorite food without salt. Celebration of God’s festivals bring plenty of joy, enthusiasm, vibes, positivity and feeling of togetherness in our lives which is uplifting to our spiritual consciousness. Festivities means Learning, Music, Singing, Dancing, Associating & Eating Prasadam.....All Fun but No stress. 😃. Celebration of God’s festivals provide us both Enlightenment & Entertainment.

Bg 14.20 -- When the embodied being is able to transcend these three modes associated with the material body, he can become free from birth, death, old age and their distresses and can enjoy nectar even in this life.

Bg 18.58 -- If you become conscious of Me, you will pass over all the obstacles of conditioned life by My grace. If, however, you do not work in such consciousness but act through false ego, not hearing Me, you will be lost.

H. Once you know who God is, then you love God. There is No Loss but only Gain & Bliss by understanding & accepting, meaning realizing God AND building unconditional loving relationships with him & his creations.

Bg 13.24 -- One who understands this philosophy concerning material nature, the living entity and the interaction of the modes of nature is sure to attain liberation. He will not take birth here again, regardless of his present position.

Bg 7.19 -- After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare.

"ONCE YOU LOVE GITA YOU LOVE GOD & ONCE YOU LOVE GOD YOU LOVE EVERYONE & EVERYTHING."....BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON ME..LOL. 😂 😝 😆.

It is easy to say, but difficult to follow. I am in the same boat with everyone else, or I may even be behind, but thinking in the right direction will help us to go in the right direction.

Thank You.

MY SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION , SOURCE & THE GURUS:

I am inspired to hear & read the Vedic Scriptures by regularly listening to Sri Pandurang Shashtri Athvale, also known as Dadaji ( speaks on Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Veda based discourses & western philosophy ) and the association of Swadhyay Parivar every Sunday in Swadhya Kendra.

I also hear and read the discourses & literature on Vedic thoughts from Srila Prabhupada, his disciples & grand disciples ( HH Bhakti Rasamitra Swami, HH Chaitanya Charandas Prabhu, Shubha Vilas Prabhu, Sutapa Das, Amarnath Dasa, HH Bhakticharu Swami, HH Urmila Devi Dasi, HH Sivarama Swami, HH Radhanath Swami, HH Romapada Swami, Lal Govind Prabhu ( Gujarati & Hindi) Prahalad Maharaj in Surat (Gujarati) .......and many more from ISKCON......).

FYI: A good source of Vedic literature: Vedabase.com . Srimad Bhagavad Gita is the essence & Srimad Bhagavatam (SB) is the nectar of all Vedic scriptures. Repeatedly hearing/reading & meditating the Scriptures, Eating Sanctified Pure Food and Chanting Vedic Mantras are nourishing to our heart (Soul), transcendental to our consciousness, purifying to our senses and thus helps us to overcome our weaknesses or deficiencies. Yes, we do have good qualities within us but there is always a room for improvement.

It is always a good idea to share our good thoughts & knowledge with others. Thanks to the Facebook & Social media for providing me the platform. Of course I use Smartphone & Google search to collect some data.

Besides my parents, wife, teachers, family & friends GREATFUL to EVERYONE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED in MY LIFE. Hopefully my enthusiasm will continue by Grace of the Guru & God (Krishna , Absolute Truth).

NOTE:
Many times a word Hearing is used instead of Listening when it comes to the Scriptures. Because Scriptures are so potent that simply by Hearing them even if you don’t try to interpret or analyze or understand them still there will be passive positive effects on our mind & senses.

We can follow either the Quran, Bible,Torah, Tripitaka-Buddhism, Agama-Jainism, Guru Granth Sahib-Sikhism, Gita or any other Philosophy which makes sense to us, purifies us, elevates our consciousness and qualifies us to understand God and instill the love of God & his creation. (whichever way we can understand God -- either Personal with many names or Impersonal as an universal consciousness & energy).

Don’t try to understand God by Name, Religion or Depiction (means image, picture...etc) but try to understand him by the Definition through Scriptures. The Transcendental subject of God & his creation cannot be understood by mental speculation. Some times people ask why God is Supreme? It is just like asking why is the circle circular? Just by definition, the circle is circular. Similarly by definition, God is unborn, complete, unlimited, infinite, eternal, the Absolute Truth the source of everything, cause of all causes.

I see God, besides the above mentioned qualities, as an eternal living person (not a abstract or some kind of light) known by the name KRISHNA meaning one who attracts everyone has also MANY other NAMES, forms, abodes, incarnations, activities, qualities, associates, is full of wisdom, bliss, and the cause of all causes.

Bg 9.17 -- I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.

Bg:13-12:-- Accepting the importance of self-realization; and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth ( God ) – all these I declare to be knowledge, and besides this whatever there may be is ignorance. ( Vedabase.com ).
