Gita is a Biography of our own life, a book of True Knowledge relevant to everyone on this planet 🌎. Just like material knowledge leads us towards material perfection, similarly Spiritual knowledge leads us towards spiritual perfection. Gita shows us where we are standing at current moments in our lives and which direction we are heading. Gita points out our strengths as well as weaknesses, deficiencies or defects and shows us how to overcome them. Gita helps us to standstill while facing any kind of storm in our lives. Gita’s thoughts makes us a LOVING & LESS FEARFUL personality..... little bit of fear because of wife, hopefully FEARLESS in next life.... LOL 😂 🤣😅.

The Eleven Bullet Points where Gita talks about Me, not about any religion.

1. My Identity: Who am I ? What is my real identity? I am an eternal Soul living in the material body until body is no longer livable and will then transmigrate to another body after death.

2. My Birth & Desires: Why am I born to a specific family? My specific desires & actions to enjoy this world are causes for my birth in a specific family.

3. My Duty: Gita is suggesting me to perform my prescribed duty with a good consciousness & without expectation (either as a parent, child, spouse, teacher, student, friend, employee, citizen of a nation...or any other role given to me) which indirectly will improves my family, professional, socioeconomic and nation’s lives....A win win strategy.

4. My Mentality: How am I reacting while facing this world? Gita talks about three Gunas or Modes of Material Nature which signify my thinking, behavior, actions & interactions with the world.....

5. My Yoga: Lord Krishna in the Gita has spoken on every kind of Yoga which includes Dhyana Yoga , Karma Yoga, Knowledge Yoga & Spiritual Yoga to show me how to live an efficient, satisfactory, peaceful, joyful & fulfilling life.

6. My Lifestyle, Food & Health: In the long run, food plays a major role in my mental & physical health. Gita is suggesting that I eat the foods (fresh, juicy, wholesome) which can purify me, give me strength, satisfaction and increase my longevity. Gita also saying that I should control my eating, sleeping, recreation and work. There is happiness in the Mode of Goodness lifestyle.

7. My Relationship with the Creator (God) & his Creation: The Gita talks about who God is. How can I understand God? How do I build the unconditional loving relationships with God & his creations?

8. My Direction/Destiny: My overall direction in life is dependent on my consciousness & desires. Where I am heading? Gita talks about results of my actions or Karma. My destiny is the result of summation of an individual action performed throughout the life; it is the reservoir of my Karmas.

9. My Reformation: How do I overcome a situation? How do I change my thinking, behavior, lifestyle...and my direction?... Like this there are many questions & answers in the Gita.

10. My Happiness & Liberation: Once I understand myself & God, I will understand everything happening in my life.....there will be no complaints...LOL....and I will be happy & liberated (Moksha) here only.

11. My Free Will: Finally, Gita talks about my free will to live my life as I wish.

The essences of Gita is Spiritual or Bhakti Yoga. Spiritual Yoga is about building unconditional loving relationships & services to God which includes humanity. My inner development, joy & moksha or liberation are the byproducts of Spiritual Yoga—A Spiritual Journey towards God.

Yes, Gita is a Masterpiece & Master key to become a Successful & Selfless Human. There are many slokas in Gita which can explain the above mentioned bullet points in depth. Here are the few slokas....

Bg 2.13 — As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.

Bg 6.43 — On taking such a birth, he revives the divine consciousness of his previous life, and he again tries to make further progress in order to achieve complete success, O son of Kuru.

Bg 13.24 — One who understands this philosophy concerning material nature, the living entity and the interaction of the modes of nature is sure to attain liberation. He will not take birth here again, regardless of his present position.

Bg 14.20 — When the embodied being is able to transcend these three modes associated with the material body, he can become free from birth, death, old age and their distresses and can enjoy nectar even in this life.

Bg 18.54 — One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He never laments or desires to have anything. He is equally disposed toward every living entity. Vedabase.com

It is easy to say, but difficult to follow. I am in the same boat with everyone else, or I may even be behind, but thinking in the right direction will help us to go in the right direction.

THANK YOU.

MY SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION , SOURCE & THE GURUS:

I am inspired to hear & read the Vedic Scriptures by regularly listening to Sri Pandurang Shashtri Athvale, also known as Dadaji ( speaks on Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Veda based discourses & western philosophy ) and the association of Swadhyay Parivar every Sunday in Swadhya Kendra.

I also hear and read the discourses & literature on Vedic thoughts from Srila Prabhupada, his disciples & grand disciples ( HH Bhakti Rasamitra Swami, HH Chaitanya Charandas Prabhu, Shubha Vilas Prabhu, Sutapa Das, Amarnath Dasa, HH Bhakticharu Swami, HH Urmila Devi Dasi, HH Sivarama Swami, HH Radhanath Swami, HH Romapada Swami, Lal Govind Prabhu ( Gujarati & Hindi) Prahalad Maharaj in Surat (Gujarati) .......and many more from ISKCON......).

FYI: A good source of Vedic literature: Vedabase.com . Srimad Bhagavad Gita is the essence & Srimad Bhagavatam (SB) is the nectar of all Vedic scriptures. Repeatedly hearing/reading & meditating the Scriptures, Eating Sanctified Pure Food and Chanting Vedic Mantras are nourishing to our heart (Soul), transcendental to our consciousness, purifying to our senses and thus helps us to overcome our weaknesses or deficiencies. Yes, we do have good qualities within us but there is always a room for improvement.

It is always a good idea to share our good thoughts & knowledge with others. Thanks to the Facebook & Social media for providing me the platform. Of course I use Smartphone & Google search to collect some data.

Besides my parents, wife, teachers, family & friends GREATFUL to EVERYONE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED in MY LIFE. Hopefully my enthusiasm will continue by Grace of the Guru & God (Krishna , Absolute Truth).

NOTE:
Many times a word Hearing is used instead of Listening when it comes to the Scriptures. Because Scriptures are so potent that simply by Hearing them even if you don’t try to interpret or analyze or understand them still there will be passive positive effects on our mind & senses.

We can follow either the Quran, Bible,Torah, Tripitaka-Buddhism, Agama-Jainism, Guru Granth Sahib-Sikhism, Gita or any other Philosophy which makes sense to us, purifies us, elevates our consciousness and qualifies us to understand God and instill the love of God & his creation. (whichever way we can understand God — either Personal with many names or Impersonal as an universal consciousness & energy).

Don’t try to understand God by Name, Religion or Depiction (means image, picture...etc) but try to understand him by the Definition through Scriptures. The Transcendental subject of God & his creation cannot be understood by mental speculation. Some times people ask why God is Supreme? It is just like asking why is the circle circular? Just by definition, the circle is circular. Similarly by definition, God is unborn, complete, unlimited, infinite, eternal, the Absolute Truth the source of everything, cause of all causes.

I see God, besides the above mentioned qualities, as an eternal living person (not a abstract or some kind of light) known by the name KRISHNA meaning one who attracts everyone has also MANY other NAMES, forms, abodes, incarnations, activities, qualities, associates, is full of wisdom, bliss, and the cause of all causes.

Bg 9.17 — I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.

Bg:13-12:— Accepting the importance of self-realization; and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth ( God ) – all these I declare to be knowledge, and besides this whatever there may be is ignorance. ( Vedabase.com ).
