FOCUS HIGHER:

Some stimulating thoughts below can be helpful to FOCUS HIGHER & INWARD to evolve Spiritually.

1. If the higher human mind is not focused toward higher supreme objects, then by default, it will come down to lower mundane objects. (Higher supreme objects vary for every individual & they change with time, place & circumstances; they can be either Parents, Business Tycoons, Politicians, Film Stars, Philanthropists, Magicians 🎩...LOL 😂, Friends, Colleagues, Spouses, Siblings, Nature itself, Gurus or God/Scriptures). We can learn spirituality from everyone, a company of spiritually advanced people will help us to make rapid progress on spiritual path.

2. Many times people say be yourself, yes be yourself, but be your higher self not your lower self, meaning continue to improve yourself.

3. Without purpose to survive we will die physically, similarly without purpose to grow spiritually, we will die morally.

4. It is difficult to start & sustain spiritual journey, if your are FOMO (fear of missing out ) personality... LOL 😂. Association of spiritually minded people will help us to slowly transform from FOMO to JOMO (Joy of missing out) personality... LOL 😂.

5. Our Mind means Mentality or Consciousness is designed in such a way that if we can’t UPGRADE it with Spiritual thoughts then by default It will DEGRADE us.

6. The evolution of man is the evolution of his consciousness, and consciousness cannot be evolved unconsciously.

7. It is almost impossible for us to rise SPIRITUALLY if we can’t rise over the MATERIAL agony (dishonour, paucity, hatred, mistakes, deficiencies, aging, disease & Death) of life.

8. HUMAN LIFE is NEVER MEANT for SENSE GRATIFICATION, but for SELF-REALIZATION.

9. ONLY RIGHT I HAVE IN THIS WORLD IS THE RIGHT TO BE ENLIGHTENED.

10. HUMAN LIFE is NOT a JOURNEY to RESOLVE the MATERIAL PROBLEMS of the LIFE but IT IS VOYAGE for SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION.

11. OUR PRESENT LIFE, FUTURE DIRECTION & DESTINY ARE DEPENDENT ON HOW WE UTILIZE OUR MIND & MOMENT.

Bg 5.24 -- One whose happiness is within, who is active and rejoices within, and whose aim is inward is actually the perfect mystic. He is liberated in the Supreme, and ultimately he attains the Supreme.

Bg 6.5 -- One must deliver himself with the help of his mind, and not degrade himself. The mind is the friend of the conditioned soul, and his enemy as well. Vedabase.com

Bg 6.6 -- For him who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest enemy.

Bg:13-12:-- Accepting the importance of self-realization; and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth ( God ) – all these I declare to be knowledge, and besides this whatever there may be is ignorance.

With respect to everyone’s values & beliefs, whichever GUIDELINES ( Bible, Quran, Torah, Tripitaka-Buddhism, Agama-Jainism, Guru Granth Sahib-Sikhism, Gita or any other...) METHODS or WAYS work for us is good.

It is easy to say, but difficult to follow. I am in the same boat with everyone else, or I may even be behind, but thinking in the right direction will help us to go in the right direction.

Thank You.

MY SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION , SOURCE & THE GURUS:

I am inspired to hear & read the Vedic Scriptures by regularly listening to Sri Pandurang Shashtri Athvale, also known as Dadaji ( speaks on Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Veda based discourses & western philosophy ) and the association of Swadhyay Parivar every Sunday in Swadhya Kendra.

I also hear and read the discourses & literature on Vedic thoughts from Srila Prabhupada, his disciples & grand disciples ( HH Bhakti Rasamitra Swami, HH Chaitanya Charandas Prabhu, Shubha Vilas Prabhu, Sutapa Das, Amarnath Dasa, HH Bhakticharu Swami, HH Urmila Devi Dasi, HH Sivarama Swami, HH Radhanath Swami, HH Romapada Swami, Lal Govind Prabhu ( Gujarati & Hindi) Prahalad Maharaj in Surat (Gujarati) .......and many more from ISKCON......).

FYI: A good source of Vedic literature: Vedabase.com . Srimad Bhagavad Gita is the essence & Srimad Bhagavatam (SB) is the nectar of all Vedic scriptures. Repeatedly hearing/reading & meditating the Scriptures, Eating Sanctified Pure Food and Chanting Vedic Mantras are nourishing to our heart (Soul), transcendental to our consciousness, purifying to our senses and thus helps us to overcome our weaknesses or deficiencies. Yes, we do have good qualities within us but there is always a room for improvement.

It is always a good idea to share our good thoughts & knowledge with others. Thanks to the Facebook & Social media for providing me the platform. Of course I use Smartphone & Google search to collect some data.

Besides my parents, wife, teachers, family & friends GREATFUL to EVERYONE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED in MY LIFE. Hopefully my enthusiasm will continue by Grace of the Guru & God (Krishna , Absolute Truth).

NOTE:
Many times a word Hearing is used instead of Listening when it comes to the Scriptures. Because Scriptures are so potent that simply by Hearing them even if you don’t try to interpret or analyze or understand them still there will be passive positive effects on our mind & senses.

We can follow either the Quran, Bible,Torah, Tripitaka-Buddhism, Agama-Jainism, Guru Granth Sahib-Sikhism, Gita or any other Philosophy which makes sense to us, purifies us, elevates our consciousness and qualifies us to understand God and instill the love of God & his creation. (whichever way we can understand God -- either Personal with many names or Impersonal as an universal consciousness & energy).

Don’t try to understand God by Name, Religion or Depiction (means image, picture...etc) but try to understand him by the Definition through Scriptures. The Transcendental subject of God & his creation cannot be understood by mental speculation. Some times people ask why God is Supreme? It is just like asking why is the circle circular? Just by definition, the circle is circular. Similarly by definition, God is unborn, complete, unlimited, infinite, eternal, the Absolute Truth the source of everything, cause of all causes.

I see God, besides the above mentioned qualities, as an eternal living person (not a abstract or some kind of light) known by the name KRISHNA meaning one who attracts everyone has also MANY other NAMES, forms, abodes, incarnations, activities, qualities, associates, is full of wisdom, bliss, and the cause of all causes.

Bg 9.17 -- I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas.

Bg:13-12:-- Accepting the importance of self-realization; and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth ( God ) – all these I declare to be knowledge, and besides this whatever there may be is ignorance. ( Vedabase.com ).

MISERIES of LIFE:

SB: 10.14.58 says "padaṁ padaṁ yad vipadāṁ na teṣām " means there is struggle & danger at every steps in our life.

Since time immemorial, everyone of us is working hard, struggling or suffering while maintaining ourselves in this world. There are many challenges & obstacles in our lives; we can not escape from the chaotic lifestyle as our surrounding situations will never be perfect. The struggles, suffering or MISERIES of LIFE will continue till death. Let’s have a look & dive into these Miseries...LOL 😂.

Threefold Miseries of Materialistic life.

1. Adhyatmika: Misery due to our own body & mind, Examples: Toothache, Knee pain, Mental distress due to loss of wealth. Misery of aging, disease & death...etc

2. Adhibhautika: Miseries due to others body & mind meaning Harrasament by Spouse... LOL 😂. Miseries pertaining to the difficulties imposed by society, community, nation and other living entities like mosquito bites. 😂. Rules, Regulation & Punishment imposed by society.

3. Adhidaivika: Miseries inflicted upon us by Mother Nature or natural calamities like earthquakes, tornadoes, droughts, floods....etc.

Bodily discomfort or suffering from these Miseries are relatively less painful then Mental pain or distress. These material miseries are unavoidable, unstoppable and come unexpectedly. Spiritual Wisdom will help us swallow & absorb the Pill of Miseries..LOL. It is almost impossible for us to rise SPIRITUALLY & enjoy the present situation in life if we can’t rise over these MISERIES or agonies of life. Spiritual knowledge will show us how to live in this world & how to leave this world...LOL 😂.

Bg 5.22 -- An intelligent person does not take part in the sources of misery, which are due to contact with the material senses. O son of Kuntī, such pleasures have a beginning and an end, and so the wise man does not delight in them.

Bg 2.14 -- O son of Kuntī, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed.

Bg 2.15 -- O best among men [Arjuna], the person who is not disturbed by happiness and distress and is steady in both is certainly eligible for liberation.

Bg 5.24 -- One whose happiness is within, who is active and rejoices within, and whose aim is inward is actually the perfect mystic. He is liberated in the Supreme, and ultimately he attains the Supreme.

It is easy to say, but difficult to follow. I am in the same boat with everyone else, or I may even be behind, but thinking in the right direction will help us to go in the right direction.

Thank You.

TONGUE--A LOADED GUN.

Our tongue is like a loaded gun that we always carry within us; it can disturb or destroy many lives if not used carefully & wisely.

Audio: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g4322l3naisjl3t/TONGUE%E2%80%94A%20LOADED%20GUN.m4a?dl=0

We can resolve many problems in our lives either in family life, in friends circle, at work, at political level, in meetings , gatherings, at conferences, while simultaneously giving advice and making people laugh....at anytime & anywhere, just by paying attention to OUR SPEECH or VANI as Gita says in 17.15:

अनुद्वेगकरं वाक्यं सत्यं प्रियहितं च यत् ।
स्वाध्यायाभ्यसनं चैव वाङ्मयं तप उच्यते ॥ १७.१५ ॥

Bg 17.15 -- Austerity of speech consists in speaking words that are truthful, pleasing, beneficial, and not agitating to others, and also in regularly reciting Vedic literature.

Yes it is a huge task, but we definitely can improve our materialistic speech, such as being: harsh, arrogant, greedy, discouraging, dividing, phony, sarcastic, self-centered , agitating, bitter and angry SPEECH, WRITING or FACE BOOK POSTS (too many adjectives, choose one that fits you... LOL 😂.). To speak in a spiritual manner means being very encouraging, uplifting, empowering, generous, uniting, gentle, genuine, sweet, polite, compassionate, beneficial (again so many adjectives, choose one that you can improve... LOL 😂.) & ENLIGHTENING to the society by regularly reciting the SCRIPTURES.

Sometimes people go to Guru to take vows to keep quiet for few days. Austerity of the speech is not about taking any VOWS to keep quiet, but it is about not speaking or uttering nonsense & meaningless words. We don’t have to reveal everything that comes to our minds, sometimes it is better to shut up 🤐. ....LOL 😂

Spiritual life begins with Tongue control. The tongue is constantly vibrating & has urge to speak. If you speak, speak meaningfully & with sense. Of course we can have light moments in our lives, sometimes we can speak silly or have a sense of humor...LOL 🤣 😂 ...but everything should be in the Mode of Goodness.

Bg 14.6 -- O sinless one, the mode of goodness, being purer than the others, is illuminating, and it frees one from all sinful reactions. Those situated in that mode become conditioned by a sense of happiness and knowledge. Vedabase.com

Have a Sweet-Speech Day.

PLOWING with MERCEDES BENZ:

Imagine a farmer who gets a Mercedes Benz as a gift. The only vehicle he has ever seen is a tractor, and the only purpose he knows for any vehicle is plowing. So he hitches a yoke to his new Mercedes and starts driving it over his field. Of course, not only does his attempt at plowing fail; his new car malfunctions. He becomes totally frustrated--with himself, his car, and his field. Ridiculous, we might say, that somebody would use a Mercedes to plow. But could this be the story of our life?

When we use a Mercedes to plow, three things result: a spoiled field, a wrecked car, and a frustrated driver. Analogously, let’s see what science has discovered about using the human body only for sensual pleasure. Specifically, what happens to the environment (the field), the human body (the car), and ourselves (the driver)?

The environment: Biologist E. O. Wilson, among many other scientists, has studied the complex interdependence among various species in the biosphere. He found that every species makes some contribution to the ecology of the planet. But he found that one species doesn’t contribute to the ecology--the human species. If the human species became extinct, there would hardly be any problems for any other species or for the ecology. In fact, human extinction would solve most ecological problems. The human species is arguably the most intelligent species on the planet. Normally the more intelligent the student, the more positive his contribution. Then why is it that, among all species, our human contribution to the ecology is not the most positive, but the most negative? Can it be that our contribution is meant to be at a level higher than the physical?

The Vedic scriptures--and the scriptures of all the great religions of the world--say that human life is meant for achieving, not material enjoyment, but spiritual fulfillment. The Vedic scriptures further explain that the human body is a precious vehicle that the soul gets after transmigrating through 8.4 million species. In all subhuman bodies, the soul has access only to material pleasure, through fulfilling the bodily demands of eating, sleeping, mating, and defending. All material pleasure is troublesome to acquire. Even when acquired, it is unsatisfying because of the body’s limited capacity to enjoy. And even this paltry pleasure is inevitably curtailed by disease and old age, and terminated by death. Only in the human body is the soul’s consciousness evolved enough to access a superior source of pleasure--love of God.

Using the human body for sensual pleasures is not much different from using a car for plowing. Many physical & mental illnesses are related to improper use of our body & mind. Because we see almost everyone around us pursuing material goals--wealth, luxuries, prestige, power, fame--we assume such pursuits to be the natural purpose of life. But, as the saying goes, "Do not think you’re on the right road just because it’s well-worn."

(Article written by HH Chaitanya Charandas Prabhu. See the link. https://www.iskcontimes.com/when-science-points-to-spirituality/ His websites : thespiritualscientist.com and gitadaily.com)

Bg 6.17 -- He who is regulated in his habits of eating, sleeping, recreation and work can mitigate all material pains by practicing the yoga system.

Bg:13-12:-- Accepting the importance of self-realization; and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth ( God ) – all these I declare to be knowledge, and besides this whatever there may be is ignorance.

Bg 14.20 -- When the embodied being is able to transcend these three modes associated with the material body, he can become free from birth, death, old age and their distresses and can enjoy nectar even in this life. Vedabase.com

It is easy to say, but difficult to follow. I am in the same boat with everyone else, or I may even be behind, but thinking in the right direction will help us to go in the right direction.

Thank You.

SUPERNATURAL SKILLS:

Smartphones & Social media are the modern ways to communicate & connect with the world. YouTube, Twitter, Facebook & WhatsApp are the modern newspapers to receive the latest news. Many people are using these modern newspapers to post news, worldly mundane information, vacations pictures and also to inform or & inspire others about their special Skills or Talents. Humans in general, due to so much passion, like to spend their valuable time, money & energy to learn new Skills. When we see other creatures, however; they don’t require any special training, time, or money to learn the Supernatural Skills; they are born with these Skills. Let’s see some examples below.

1. FLYING: Eagle can fly high in sky without any pollution & noise.
2. RUNNING: Deer & Cheetahs can run a 5k in no time.
3. FEROCIOUS WARRIOR: A Lion is so ferocious and can kill any creature on this planet....
4. STRENGTH & POWER: The Elephant is so strong & powerful, it can lift or carry the heaviest loads we can ever imagine without any weight lifting training.
5. SWIMMING: Fish can swim the whole ocean without Guppy classes....LOL 😂.
6. SCUBA DIVING: Many sea creatures can swim underneath water for many hours without oxygen tanks....
7. LONG JUMPS: Monkeys can jump naturally from tree to tree without any long jump training.
8. SINGING: Birds can sing beautifully without any practice and musical instruments.....so on & so forth.

The Human body is not designed to have the above mention Supernatural Skills. Due to highly evolved consciousness & passion, it is human natural desire to learn the above mentioned Skills which can give us a Thrill...LOL 🤣. In real life, the Human body design is specifically created to learn much more then just external material Skills and that’s the internal SPIRITUAL SKILLS. Just like animals are born with hidden external bodily talents, we are born with hidden internal Spiritual talents. Due to crazy lifestyles & busy learning other Skills, sometimes we get distracted or fall away to reawaken the most precious Skill within us and that is the SELF-REALIZATION; which is impossible to learn as any other creatures on this planet.

Our Godly Qualities (Love, Kindness, Compassion, Gentleness, Great-fullness, Forgiveness, Humbleness, Discipline, Generosity...etc) are the reflections of our internal Spiritual Skills or Self-Realization. This Supernatural Spiritual Skill is the Everlasting Treasure beneficial to us, our family, friends, colleagues, community, country & whole world.....A Win-Win strategy.

"OUR PRESENT LIFE, FUTURE DIRECTION, DESTINY & NEXT LIFE ARE DEPENDENT ON HOW WE UTILIZE OUR MIND & MOMENT."

Bg:13-12:-- Accepting the importance of self-realization; and philosophical search for the Absolute Truth ( God ) – all these I declare to be knowledge, and besides this whatever there may be is ignorance. Vedabase.com

Bg 18.42 -- Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness – these are the natural qualities by which the brāhmaṇas (sober person) work.

It is easy to say, but difficult to follow. I am in the same boat with everyone else, or I may even be behind, but thinking in the right direction will help us to go in the right direction.

Thank You.

WHY SO MUCH LOVE FOR GOD?

Many of us have a lot of Passion for the spiritual aspects of life. Today’s post heavily references God (whatever understanding & beliefs we have about God). Some statements will resonate and others may not. You have every right to disagree with my blog, I won’t be offended & it will not affect our relationships....LOL 😂 😝 😆. In case if this Blog make sense to you (that includes me also) then take it seriously; it is the beginning of Self & God realizations..... LOL 😂 😝 😆.

Here are some elaborated bullet Points with appropriate Shloka or Verse from Gita.

A. Gods existence question haunts us even if we find Him irrelevant or not necessary for our day to day life. When we deal with questions of ontology and teleology--the questions concerning where everything comes from and where everything is going--we can’t help but consider the existence of God. Nothing is created or manufactured in this world out of nothing including this Universe.

Bg 7.4 -- Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego – all together these eight constitute My separated material energies.

Bg 9.18 -- I am the goal, the sustainer, the master, the witness, the abode, the refuge and the most dear friend. I am the creation and the annihilation, the basis of everything, the resting place and the eternal seed.

B. Don’t try to understand God by Name, Religion or Depiction (means image, picture...etc) but try to understand him by the Definition through Scriptures. The Transcendental subject of God & his creation cannot be understood by mental speculation. Very precisely & intricately designed , the Universe & Living entity can’t be originated by chance, however, anything & everything can be destroyed by chance....LOL.

Bg 7.7 -- O conqueror of wealth, there is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread.

Bg 9.17 -- I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable oṁ. I am also the Ṛg, the Sāma and the Yajur Vedas. Vedabase.com

C. Conscious living form & emotions are born from the other conscious living forms. If someone asks about our forefathers, we may not know anything about them, not even their names, but at least one thing we can say about them that they were not born from any impersonal entities, matters or manufactured in the factories...LOL 😂. Our forefathers existed & they were born from other conscious living forms; it is a truth-not a mythology. Who is the original seed giving father?

Bg 7.10 -- O son of Pṛthā, know that I am the original seed of all existences, the intelligence of the intelligent, and the prowess of all powerful men.

Bg 14.4 -- It should be understood that all species of life, O son of Kuntī, are made possible by birth in this material nature, and that I am the seed-giving father.

D. In day to day life, everyone of us has experienced that by absorbing ourselves in worldly mundane subjects & objects matters increase our agitation, anxiety, anger ness, greed, envy, distress, possessiveness and BLOOD PRESSURE...LOL 😂. Chewing the worldly mundane matters taste like nectar in the beginning but turns into poison at the end. If the higher human mind is not focused toward higher supreme objects, then by default, it will come down to lower mundane objects.

Bg 15.7 -- The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind.

Bg 18.38 -- That happiness which is derived from contact of the senses with their objects and which appears like nectar at first but poison at the end is said to be of the nature of passion.

E. Spending some of our time & passion for our spiritual development by practicing the Spiritual Yoga (Divine Relationship with Supreme) will reawaken our dormant divine qualities like forgiveness, compassion, and love for all living beings. Our distress & demonic qualities diminish simply by associating with the supremely pleasant & divine personality--God.

Bg 7.14 -- This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it.

Bg 18.42 -- Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness – these are the natural qualities by which the brāhmaṇas (sober person) work. Vedabase.com

F. We feel happy when we unconditionally love & serve our parents, children, family members, friends, colleagues, the nature itself or any other creations of the God. Similarly we feel extremely joyful when we unconditionally love, serve & glorify the GOD, the cause of all causes. Unfortunately every relationships in this world is temporary except one with God which is eternal. We can love God as we like; meaning we can love Him as our foremost forefather, Parent, Friend, Guru, or as a Supreme..... Whichever way we like to see & Love Him. It is easier for us to Love God who has form & qualities rather then formless.

Bg 18.54 -- One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He never laments or desires to have anything. He is equally disposed toward every living entity.

G. Life’s Journey without festivities becomes very dry & boring; it is like eating our favorite food without salt. Celebration of God’s festivals bring plenty of joy, enthusiasm, vibes, positivity and feeling of togetherness in our lives which is uplifting to our spiritual consciousness. Festivities means Learning, Music, Singing, Dancing, Associating & Eating Prasadam.....All Fun but No stress. 😃. Celebration of God’s festivals provide us both Enlightenment & Entertainment.

Bg 14.20 -- When the embodied being is able to transcend these three modes associated with the material body, he can become free from birth, death, old age and their distresses and can enjoy nectar even in this life.

Bg 18.58 -- If you become conscious of Me, you will pass over all the obstacles of conditioned life by My grace. If, however, you do not work in such consciousness but act through false ego, not hearing Me, you will be lost.

H. Once you know who God is, then you love God. There is No Loss but only Gain & Bliss by understanding & accepting, meaning realizing God AND building unconditional loving relationships with him & his creations.

Bg 13.24 -- One who understands this philosophy concerning material nature, the living entity and the interaction of the modes of nature is sure to attain liberation. He will not take birth here again, regardless of his present position.

Bg 7.19 -- After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare.

"ONCE YOU LOVE GITA YOU LOVE GOD & ONCE YOU LOVE GOD YOU LOVE EVERYONE & EVERYTHING."....BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON ME..LOL. 😂 😝 😆.

WEDDING VOWS:

A wedding is a ceremony where two people are united in marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. Most wedding ceremonies involve an exchange of marriage vows by the couple, presentation of a gift (offering, rings, symbolic item, flowers, money), and a public proclamation of marriage by a priest.

Besides Indian food, fun & festivals; Indian Culture & Spiritual knowledge have been Admired, Acknowledged & Adopted by many international communities & countries in the world 🌍. Traditional Vedic wedding ceremony includes Vedic Yajna -- rituals around agni 🔥, the seven vows before the fire and the hymns from the Vedas.

For Married couple especially HUSBAND: It is about time to refresh & implement Seven Vows..LOL 😂 😝 😆.

Copied from the link.
https://www.weddingwire.in/wedding-tips/hindu-marriage--c1311

1. The first vow is the prayer to the Lord for provision and nourishment: The couple, with the bride taking the lead seeks divine blessings in the form of pure, nourishing, and healthy food along with a respectful and noble life. The groom takes the pledge to provide for the welfare and happiness for his wife and children, and the bride promises to happily and equally shoulder all the responsibilities for the welfare of the groom and his family.

2. The second vow is for strength in good times or bad: The couple pleads together to the Almighty to bless them with mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. The groom while requesting the bride to stand by him at all times makes a commitment to protect and provide security to their family. The bride agrees to be his strength while demanding undivided attention and eternal love.

3. The third vow is for prosperity: While taking the third vow, the couple seeks wealth and prosperity so that they can live a comfortable and satisfying life. They also pledge to take care of their children and educate them. In the same Phera, the couple assures each other that will remain loyal to each other for the rest of their lives.

4. The fourth vow is for families; to stand by them through thick and thin: During this step, the groom thanks the bride for bringing happiness and sacredness in his life. While in return, the bride swears to serve and please the groom to the best of her abilities. Together, the couple takes a vow to take care of and respect the elders in their family.

5. The fifth vow is for progeny, appealing to the god for strong and noble children: The importance of the fifth vow is to seek blessings for their future progeny. While appealing to the god for strong and noble children, the couple also prays for the welfare of all the living beings on this Universe. They promise that as mother and father they will be solely responsible for the upbringing of their children. This is also the step starting which the groom takes the lead.

6. The sixth vow is for looking after each other health: In the sixth vow, the bride and the groom together invoke the Almighty to bless them with a healthy and disease-free life. The groom makes a wish in which he desires that his wife would fill his life with joy and peace; while the bride provides assurance to the groom that she would willingly participate with him in all his noble and divine acts.

7. The seventh vow is for love and friendship: While taking the last vow, the couple pleads for a long-lasting relationship, enriched with love, understanding, and loyalty. They take an oath to remain friends forever and stand by each other not only in this life but in the many lives to come.

It is easy to say, but difficult to follow especially Marriage Vows..LOL 😂. I am in the same boat with everyone else, or I may even be behind, but it is never too late. 😃

Thank You.
